Download Manager Loading Automatically

    When I try to save an image in Netscape 7.1, Download Manager automatically opens. If I close it, it reopens when I download another image.

    I tried reloading NS, but that did not work. I cannot find a way to turn of this automatic loading. Can anyone help?

    Welcome to the Forum, ksedeckas!

    Hi Ken,

    If you don't wish to see the Progress Window, then do this:

    Edit | Preferences | Navigator | Downloads
    Select: Don't open anything

    This doesn't turn off the Download Manager, but it does hide the Progress window.
