Can somebody tell me where can I download IE6.

Best to use windows update from your start menu so you can update the OS in general as well as IE6, or the following link for ie6 SP1.

The problem is downloading only the setup file for IE6, I need to download the full version of IE6 for friends that don't have a fast Internet connection.

blumash--I seem to remember that if you start the IEdownload process on your PC, at some point you will be offered a Custom installation, and then on that page there is an Advanced button which leads to a download without installation. You will have to save that and the setup file to some storage media your friends can access.

MS also has a Corporate download site that permits such downloads without installation. I am still looking for it.

Get hold of a recent PC mag cover CD and it should have a full install of IE6 SP1
