Double click to Single

    In winXP how do I change from double click (on links) to single click?

    Is this what you are after?

    Windows Explorer > Tools Folder Options > General > Click Items as follows. Choose single or double click.

    Unfortunately the default setting of double click on any W2K/XP/W2K3 install is just MS being to cautious with users migrating from older double click OS's like 95/98. Once you get used to single click it's so much better than double click and reduces the onset of RSI in the index finger by 50% :D
    Sometimes MS need to be a little more proactive.
