I have a DOS accounting application that doesn't load data file under Win XP. It is not supposed to run with dates after 12/31/99. I reset date on computer clock to be 99 but program still doesn't load data file. Program starts but I can't call up any of the data files. Any suggestions?
PS. The compant is out of business.

How about running it in DOS (rather than in a DOS window)? You'll need a fat32 partition on a HDD on which to place the program and data, you can then either dual boot or more likely just start DOS from a floppy or bootable CD.
