    Hi every body..
    My question is probobly very simple, however need as answer..
    I have some one hosting mi web site and we are using his DNS servers to resolve my domain name, however I am building inhouse email server and I need to beable to resolve it as well << emai.mycompany.com>>????
    Can you please point me to the right direction.
    Yes I have DSL and statick IP

    Simple, tell your friend to adjust the dns for your email to be delivered to your IP address.

    That can only be if you have control of the DNS server.

    If you tell your friend to change the IP address for the MX record, that's all it takes to get email to travel to your IP address.

    You have control of your email...

    Belive me I know that
    However can I build my DNS server and do redirect ( ithink that wahot it call...)
    I do not realy whant ask him to do staf for me.

    Sure, you can run your own DNS server. Then it's all in your hands...

    So how would i go about seting up my dns considering
    how I can setup server to be availiable form the web with my IP address..
    if I have my site whic is poined to the different DNS?
