DNS on Windows XP

    I put this question on the Networking area too, but I figured you guys may have a better idea about this.

    How would a man go about running DNS on a Windows XP Pro box? I am running my home webpage with IIS and I want to run DNS.

    I use BIND-PE for DNS resolution on my machine and small network. Works fine when the servers are down. Runs as an XP service.

    Not sure if it will meet your needs.

    filrean - you only need to post a topic in one section. Most of us scan more than one.

    And as you may have noticed, if you post twice (or more) the others will just be locked as soon as noticed.
