display settings monitor

    Hello

    When I try and change the monitor time (lapse)and the size of the display settings on my monitor my system keeps reverting back to the previous settings .......what am I doing wrong. I click on the screen size to be changed from 640-480 to 800-600 and my screen saver always reverts back to 14 minutes whatever time I set it to.

    As regards your screen resolution i.e. changing it from 640x480 to 800x600, it could be either that you do not have the right driver installed, or it might be that your monitor or video adapter are old and does not support that resolution.

    Try to update your drivers!
