display fickers

    Anybody know what I can do to stop my display flickering? I already tried the settings--color, refresh rate-- and they didn't work. Only the left side of the screen is flickering.

    That sounds more like a monitor going bad than any display settings.

    Thanks, I was afraid of that. My monitor is about six years old. I've been wanting a bigger one anyway. :) Thanks again for your reply.
