DISK error

    I got the following error when try to delete some files. Also got it trying to copy files from 1 physical HD to another physical drive.



    Win was unable 2 save all the data for the file \Device\Harddisk\Vol5\recycled\info2. Thed ata has been lost. This error may B caused by a failure of U're computer or network connection.

    Try to do a chkdsk with surface scan on all your drives. You can do it from several places but I like the cmd prompt and
    chkdsk c: /r (and another for each drive letter)
    and then a reboot so it can do the deed. Some drives will scan right then but C: and any others with system files in use will not.

    If that doesn't fix things up, we'll need the exact error message with all the details. Should be in your event logs. Easiest is to double click the event to open a detail window and then click the icon below the up/down arrows which will send a text copy of the event to your clipboard. Paste it here.
