    Hi all!
I am having difficulty with my Windows XP/IE6.0 when trying to use a link to other pages from a web page.
That is, I will click on the link and see at the bottom either 'error on page' or a javascript message, which I assume is the script that is trying to be processed.

I am sure it is something in my settings for this Dell desktop, as I have a Dell laptop and another desktop that does not have this problem.

    Thanks for any help.

    Barry

Thanks Barbara for the reference but it apparently has been garbled in revision and all I could determine from it was that all my java script programs are indeed disabled but not why. Not a big thing. I guess I'll call MS at some point or just not use this machine for those sites.

doctorbj--Based on what you have reported, I am not sure the problem is Java, but before spending the money on MS, who will tell you they no longer support Java (MS Virtual Machine), try downloading and installing the latest MS Java

If this does not help, please post more, like how you are trying to access the new page, what version of WinXP and IE6 you are running, if this just started and what you have installed just before the problem started (like a Windows Update).

Thanks for your thoughts. For some reason it turned out to be the Radeon 9700 driver, which I upgraded and cleared the problem.

However the strange circumstance is that the problem didn't surface for months. In any event it is OK now :)
