device manager crashed ~ help :(

    hi dear all,

    after installed a device driver, and the device manager crashed,
    it suppose to show the device connected on PC but now when i open thet device manager , it 's empty , it didn't show any device connecting ....

    and i 'm using the laptop and the cd-rom is not nearby, so that i can't reinstall the window , so what can i do ?

    Try rebooting into save mode. Also, have you tried removing the device?
