When the printer's ink is low there's an icon that appears in the 'system tray' that indicates that its low. When I've changed the cartidges( both) the icon should disapear.

It does not disapear, the icon is still there saying that the cartridges are low.

I've tried different cartridges twice, ran alighnment and clean, etc.. ITS STILL THERE.

    HELP.

Is the printer on USB or Parallel ?

I had the same problem ( plus others ) when mine was on USB.

IF it is parallel I don't have many ideas then. I have not had one bit of a problem with the 932C with 95, 98 FE & SE or ME. when on parallel.

Have you tried un-installing and re-install it ?

Also, somtimes if the printer is not powered when the machine si turned on it can disrupt things a little. I have had not print because of this but nothing else.
