I am housesitting for someone and using their desktop with XP Home. I mistakenly clicked the remember this password box when logging in to my web-based e-mail and now whenever I click on the webmail site my Inbox is opened. Fine for now, but how do I remove it so that when the houseowners come back they don't automatically open my Inbox whenever they click on to the webmail site? Can anyone help, please.

You can delete passwords from IE doing the following: Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete... -> Clear passwords.

    That clears everybody's passwords though.

Try just highlighting the password you put in and then pressing the delete key. It works on some systems.

Not the password, but the user name. So highlight the user name & press the Delete key on your keyboard. You'll receive a confirmation if you want to remove the password.
