Deleting a Zipped Folder

    Re:HJT Download. I doubled clicked the compressed (zipped) HJT folder & extracted & installed the exe to the new folder I created on my C: drive. I did a scan & saved the log file. If I now delete the zipped folder, will the exe. & log file remain & function again? Is a zipped file/folder a "delivery system" that is redundant once you've done the extraction & installation? TIA :)

    Yes, it's a "delivery package ".

    Similar, to a Setup or Install EXE program. Once you have executed it, the program will be installed, and the Install/Setup is no longer required. UNLESS, you want to keep it as a backup. Similarly, the zip file. If not, you can safely delete it.
