If I go to a Microsoft Office file like an Access mdb file and double click it I may have to wait a couple of minutes for it to open. If I go straight to Access it will open right away. Also I have noticed that if I get an email in Outlook that has a link in it to a web site when I click on it my cursor changes to a hand and it will not do anything. I have to use control-alt-delete to get out of it. I am running XP Pro, SP2 and Office XP, SP3.

    rfisher916 - Welcome to the Board :)

You have two entirely separate queries here -please post the Outlook problem in the Other Internet Software forum - be sure to mention Outlook in the thread title. If by Outlook you refer to Outlook Express post in the IE/OE forum.

If it is OE you may find a solution here

    Re. your Office problem ....

If access is not already running you must wait for it to start.

If it is running are you running NAV with the Office plugin enabled.

Otherwise suggest you try a repair of Access - in Acess > Help > Detect and Repair.

I tried the Office Repair with no luck. Actually when I try to open an office file by double clicking on it in Explorer it does not open at all. The same file will open when I go through the application itself.
