Guessing you mean "default? "

There really isn't a default ip address. In theory your router or server will assign it a 192.168.xxx.xxx address.

 

1.Press and hold the Go button for 5 seconds. The network configuration page prints.
2. Make a note of the IP address listed on the network configuration page.

To change the ip address, set your computer to the same ip address of printer except use 1 number higher or lower.

If the printer is 10.1.1.99 set your computer ip to 10.1.1.100. Set the computer gateway and dns to 10.1.1.1.

Plug an ethernet cable from comp to printer.

Use printer ip in web browser to access the hp print server: 10.1.1.99. Go to the networking page and change the printer ip address to an address used on your actual network. If your lan uses 192.168.1.x then change printer ip to 192.168.1.50 (this an an address that your router will likely never use for dhcp)

Change computer ip back to dynamic addressing (the way it was prior to connecting to printer). Plug printer into router.
