Default file location

    Is there a generic way to change the default file location used by "Open" for programs that don't let you set it, like Print Shop? I looked in HK_CURRENT_USER
    using regedit but didn't see any values.

    It's not a function of Windows or the registry, but rather the program itself.

    It has to be programmed in such a way as to store (and subsequently use) a default location. (ie: a feature)
