I've used DataKeeper for several years. It auto-backs up every file desired. It was a Powerquest producdt and I think bought by another company that doesn't seem to have it any more.

Unfortunately, I had downloaded the installation from the source and moved the installation file to a CD. Ooops - That CD has gone south and I was unable to install it on my new computer. Because of that, all the backups in their proprietory format that I had made could not be read and may be lost forever.

Does anyone know where I can get (buy) a copy of the installation that creates a Datakeeper.EXE file from Nov. 14, 2001. that file extracts to 831,488K. I dont know if another version will work on my files.

    Hi, tenbob. :)
I did a little looking and might have narrowed it down.

Softpedia: Partition Magic 8.0 (Yes, they have it identified with the space between the words instead of "PartitionMagic ".)
    According to Symantec,
You might want to Google datakeeper powerquest partitionmagic for further research.

OOPS! (double-post deleted) I should know by now not to attempt submitting a message at 12:00 AM (ET) here at Windows BBS. (Without thinking about the time, I clicked the Submit button when my first click didn't seem to respond.)
