Cyrus Imap ---> Exchange

Has anyone had any experience switching email systems from Cyrus a fairly standard IMAP email server to Exchange 2000, we are going to be shortly attempting a switch from Cyrus to Exchange.

I would like know know if anyone has attempted this before and if so are there any pitfalls one can try and avoid?

It is essential that all current emails are preserved and transfered the new server.

Microsofts white papers on migrating to exchange are very thin on actual facts, so i was hoping that someone here had done it before.

Both links contain useful information, our hardest part is that the users are not using a standard email client and they are going to be switched to Outlook, so we have some evil migration problems to solve as well.
