Active curious about the

curious about the [Active]

Just wondering here... I've notice, what seems to be, more and more threads with [Active] in the title. Is this something the thread starter puts in or something that is added later? Maybe it's just me, but I find it a little distracting. Like I said, I'm just curious since it's becoming more frequent.

 

The malware staff adds that to make it easier for us to see which topics have been responded to by a malware analyst. Helps to keep us from reading through topics only to find another analyst has already responded.

Notice also that when a topic is successfully concluded, we change [Active] to [Resolved]

 

Thanks noahdfear. That makes sense. I had noticed the change to [Resolved] also.
