One of the computers in my office is behaving rather strangely (freezing up, print drivers disappearing out of memory). When I start (or restart) the machine, a program called CSCRIPS.EXE runs. The program file sits in the Windows and Windows/System folders.

I have searched using Google and cannot find much reference to this file. I cannot find anything mentioned about it on Microsoft's site or on McAffee or Symantec's sites.

Can anyone tell me what this file is, is it part of a virus? (The computer is running anti-viral software but I'm unsure whether the user keeps it updated.)

    Thanks in advance!

If your spelling is correct, it's part of this virus. W32/Magistr.a@MM
