    Morning all from -3f in Boston,MA. okay now the real stuff. When I open my OE6 and I'm writting my mail I can't use the "Create a hyperlink" on the toolbar of my new message. The "Inset picture" and the "Insert horiz. line" icons are highlighted and okay but not the hyperlink one. :confused:
    The next problem is how can I get my address book (Contacts) to show in my other Identity in OE6 . When I switch from ID #1 to ID#2 I would just like my contacts to show on the left side of my page like in Main Identity.
    Thank you for any help,,Paul :cool:

    1. Start new mail message - click on Format and select Rich Text

    2. In Indent 1, click on File->Export->Addressbook

    Then switch to idnet 2 and click on File->Import

  3. to hide this advert.

    For the hyperlink problem, you have to first type the word you want for the hyperlink and then highlight it as you would if you were going to copy the text. Once the word(s) are highlighted in the email the button should be available.

    Hi Zander & Steve, the only way I can do the Hyperlink is from the Toolbar/Insert/Hyperlink. I just can't do it with the Icon in between Picture and Insert Horiz. Line. I can live with that if I have too. I'm lost though with showing my Contacts in the second Identity. I tried to Export from ID#1 and Import from ID #2 I guess I'll get it soon enough :confused:

    Thanks People , Paul :cool:

    I have found that exporting the address book is much easier by opening the Identity's address book that you want to export.

    Open the address book itself. Go to File\Export\Address Book(WAB). Tell it where to put the file. Name it wab.exe.

    Open your second identity's address book. Go to File, Import, Address book (WAB). Find the folder in which you stored the exported wab.exe & say open. Should take about a second to do.

    You Did It Deloris

    Thank you so very much Deloris. That worked EXACTLY like you said it would. I just couldn't figure out the deal. I never have a problem saving my Address Book for re-installing but this was just tricky for my Polish Brain ;)
    Many Thanks,,Paul :cool:

    You are most welcome, PAULDEP.

    I went through that mess about exporting it as a .txt or a Microsoft something or other, and it never worked for me. Then I discovered the OTHER way to do it, & it works so much better for me. :)
