3 weeks ago I have come back from a Overseas Trip and my last stop was Malaysia Kuala Lumpur and Georgetown Penang with the purpose of buying parts for my new PC build.
Well I got a shock in Georgetown the home of WD I searched out WD's Factory Outlet Shop, Credit Card in hand to buy a 4TB Green Edition hard drive.
To start off with the Gent from WD told me straight out forget the green, get a 3TB black edition instead. Thinking it would be about 30 to 40% cheaper than here in Australia I got the shock of my life when he wanted $30.- more than it is here in Melbourne so I had to politely decline.

Likewise the Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB was also around 20 Dollars dearer in K L then here.
Moral of the story, I came back empty handed, instead of pockets full of goodies, AMD also located in Penang same story.

Ahh well we learn the hard way.

And FWIW, I wholeheartedly agree. The Black Edition have a 5-year warranty, Green 2.
