    Hello,

I have managed to accumulate multiple profiles in 3 separate disciplines- Netscape, Mozilla Suite, and Firefox/Thunderbird, and would like to consolidate the data into one profile. This would include address books, saved mail, etc. These profiles are located on 3 separate drives, and I would like to get rid of 2 of them.

I think parts of this process have been explained on this Forum, but I would appreciate a refresher course.

    V/R,

    Mike

Let me give it a shot. Address books should be exported Tools|Export) from the address book of the individual program and saved as .ldif files. I give the exported files different names, so that there will not be any overwriting.
The same applies to the mail. Just make sure that you don't use the same name, so you can rename the Netscape Inbox to NSInbox, etc. Saved mail depends on the names, again. Should you want to save the bookmarks.html file, you can do, as well. I have been saving entire .slt folders for the rainy days. I copy the folders and put them in easy to find location, and, I can, then remove the profile from the profile manager. I don't recommend that you get rid of everything, unless you have space limitations, or one drive is dying.
You should have no problem since you know how to put profiles in different drives.
