Hi Everyone, I use Windows98 SE/IE6 to connect to NTL Broadband (600) service. At present I am experiencing an intermittent connection failure. At boot-up a screen message says "USB port not found ". To overcome this I unplug the power supply to the modem (Terajet ECM 210) for about three seconds.
At this the 'egg-timer' symbol appears on screen. When I press Ctrl-Alt-Delete I am told that 'MSQSRV32 is not responding. I 'end task' and the internet connection is made. I would value any information that would cure this problem.
Many thanks in advance, Regards, William.

Hi.jmatt, Thank you for your reply. I have followed your instruction to disable power management standby, but it does not apply to wins98SE. The only changes I can make involves time periods from minutes to never. Can you please advise. Regards, William.
