    I'm surprised there haven't been more people adding posts to this thread. There are a number of IT types here that are far more knowledgeable than I am, but here are 3 more programs for you to check out:

    SiSoft Sandra 2007 SP1
    Belarc Advisor 7.2a
    Everest 2.2

    They're all free. A Google search will show you several download sites.
