computer is running slow

recently my computers been running really slow/choppy, and i think this is also effecting the internet as well becuase it takes a long time to load anything on my computer these days..

my specs are: 2.6GHZ, 512MB RAM, 80GB, and ati 9600 radeon
i know my computer's specs arent the GREATEST but at one point it did run smoothly and now its running much slower than usual

I see a couple trojans in your HJT log, lets start off this way.

Having any p2p file sharing apps such as Limewire, BitTorrent uTorrent etc.. is almost like inviting malware into your computer. There is absolutely no way for you to know which of the hundreds of thousands of users you are sharing files with are infected or not.
I strongly recommend removing any P2P applications. (BitComet)

Enable the 'Show Hidden Folders' option, like this:
Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.
Make sure you go back and undo this after your system is clean.

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan only. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked.

Close HJT.


Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "Explore "), please delete these files (if present):

After that, Reboot.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (dss.exe) and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges to complete the following.

• Close all other windows before proceeding.
• Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
• When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy and then paste the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

Please post the “main.txt” log only for now.

Please post the dss log and a new HJT log.
