Compaq Presario

    I have had to reformat my hard drive a few weeks ago. Problem is, when I put in the Compaq Presario quick restore disk, it won't work. It fires up and the main menu comes up, but when choose an item to restore, i.e. audio it just won't open the hyperlink.
    The model is Compaq Presario 2262.
    PS. There dosen't seem to be anything on their site either to help me.

    Anyone any ideas?

    I'm slightly confused :confused:

    Have you reinstalled Windows and now are attempting to load drivers or have you not got as far as Windows yet ?

    Generally Restore CDs need to be cold booted and then just install Windows along with any required drivers as part of the install

    If you can clarify your exact situation we'll see what we can do
