Comp not recognizing devices

When i check my wireless card it shows nothing. No device.
Same when i look at my sound settings, it says no device is selected. I've tried to download sound drivers for my computer but when they are installing it says Error in installation, call to GetClassDevs.
Another problem is my laptop shows up as plugged in when its not plugged in. As well as the windows interface seems to be back to the old look (Windows Classic) and I cant change it back.
