Cnr Slot

    Hi, I have a Motherboard MSI MS-6340 VER-5 it has a CNR Slot, I have never used a CNR Slot. This mobo has no Ethernet connection for Broadband (cable)
    I have a spare PCI card, but as this board has only 3 PCI slots I was wondering if there are any cards like the 10/100 LAN PCI cards available for the CNR slots.
    I know there used to be CNR Modems around.

    There appears to be one CNR NIC in existence and it's called the Intel Pro/100 Ve 10/100 CNR NIC. But I'm getting average prices in the $35-40 range.

    A good NIC doesn't need to cost anywhere near that much. The pricetag may be affected by the lack of available CNR NICs.
