    Hi,

Just noticed that my clock in task bar was about 3 hours off. last time this happened
I had to change out the CMOS battery.

If infact this is my problem (not confirmed yet) as I just reset time, why would it only last a few months as I changed it in July?

Any ideas? Is there a CMOS battery that is better then another as the last one I bought at radio shack or something, LOL
looks like a big watch battery and has alot of uses ;) . I am keeping an eye on the clock though to make sure that is infact what it is.

    Regards,

    ~FIREDANCER~

The batteries I get at Radio shack have always been good--and fresh.

You might want to get one of those atomic clock synchronizers that resets your computer's clock to the atomic clock in Boulder Colorado. You can set them to synchronize at any interval you like and there are plenty of free ones around.
