    sleepy7589 - Welcome to the Board :)

Hold down the shift key as you click the X button in the upper-right corner of the last window opened. Doing so closes that window and all windows that came before it

To close all windows that are open regardless of whether they were opened before or after the current active window, press the ctrl key and then click on each of the buttons on the taskbar. This will highlight them all. Then right click on one of them and choose "close group" and the whole works will be gone.
