Using an Hp Pavilion All-In-One Computer with Windows 8.1. I want to clone my hard drive to a USB external hard disk using CD software. Need to change my startup Bios to allow booting from the CD software.

On the bottom left side of the HP splash screen is there the option to press Esc to enter the start up menu then hit the esc button. I believe F9 is the option to change the boot order. Don't for get to exit and save changes.

What model HP(P/N) is that from and who is the bios manufacturer. My HP Pavilion DV6tse-3000(CTO) Notebook PC and HP Pavilion dv4-2167sb Notebook PC both show Exit without discarding changes Yes No(Boot Options) and Exit discarding changes Yes No(BIOS Setup). DV6(08/2010) and DV4(03/2010). Both HPs have INSYDEH20(BIOS) I never heard of until I got the two HPs. My desktop is from 2000 (this one isn't an HP and I guess doesn't count) with win 7 ult 32 bit(Originally Win XP pro 32 bit) and that bios says Exit and save changes. All I know is what my BIOS show.

On older ones I've seen it is:
    Exit Saving Changes
    Exit Discarding Changes
    Load Setup Defaults
    Discard Changes
    Save Changes
