After installing an encoder prog. I see that all the wav files on my computer appear with the windows file icon and not the sound icon (eg. the speaker that usually represents windows wav files.
I can play these files (as they still say .wav) but I can no longer right click and preview sound.
Also double clicking on them does nothing. Can I get them to appear as sound file again. Thanks

Go to start/programs/windows explorer. Then go to view/folder options. Click on the file types tab. Scroll down to WAV audio and highlight it (one left click). Click on the edit button to the right. Under actions it should say open. Click edit again and browse to C:/windows/sndrec32 and click open. Click OK and back out of everything. Hope this helps.
