If you have an eBay account you should be receiving notice to change your password.

"Between late February and early March" cyberattackers compromised employee log-in credentials, allowing unauthorized access to eBay’s corporate network.

The database included customers name, encrypted password, email address, physical address, phone number and date of birth.

"A large part" of 145 million user records were copied.

    Log into your eBay account

Click on your name in the top left corner, and select Account Settings

Click Personal Information. You should see an option to edit your password.

If you used the same password anywhere else, change those accounts also.

This is the very reason I hardly ever enter my DOB on sites like ebay.

I changed my e bay password after reading the article. I closed my ebay account but not because of this breach of security.

Looks like PayPal accounts were not affected.
