An OS that isn't in OS'es!

Has anyone any experience of tying down CE.Net 4.1? We have a browser based app that will be running on handhelds running CE.Net. I can get it to run full screen and by having auto-hide and unchecking the 'always on top' box for the taskbar the users can't get to the desktop. However, by using 'tap and hold' they can close the browser. I know on a normal OS you can eliminate the ability to right click in IE through the registry but is there a way on CE? We've almost no experience of it yet and I haven't worked out how to even get to the registry!

    Thanks

That'll probably the 1st thing you have to figure out.

I have NO experiance with CE myself, asuming that it lacks a group policy editor like WinXP, you probably have to change registry entries to "tie" it down the way you want.

If the app uses the IE engine, you'll want to disable "close ", again, assuming XP this would be:

    HKCU \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Restrictions \
    DWORD: NoBrowserClose
    Value: 1

I'm hoping (if I can get into the registry) that it should be fairly easy. As well as the NoBrowserClose (thanks for that - hadn't considered that one) I'll use the NoBrowserContextMenu value. It's really an idea of how to get to the registry!
