I an having problrms with CD-RW disks on my system which is:
    P4 2.6G
    1Gb Ram
    120Gb Hdd
    Win XP Home
    Samsung DVD CDRW
    Roxio CD creator 6.0

The problem is every time I insert a CD-RW and open win explorer the whole system freezes, the only way out is to power off. Roxio drag to disk will not operate. I believe I have a conflict between windows write to disk and Roxio but do not know how to resolve this?

If you want to avoid the conflict go to My Computer - right click on your CD-RW drive - chose Properties - Recording - remove the check from "enable recording on this drive." I think this disables the Windows drivers and allows you to use your CD RW burning software.

Do you have the patches from Roxio? Some known problems between Roxio & XP.
