Can't Scan...Locked Files

    After completing security scans with AVG or Avira, I end up with a number of 'no scans' due to 'locked files'.... can you tell me why they're locked (I'm surmising the PC is 'protecting' them ), & how I can get them scanned (or do I need to in the first place)? Tx

    The files are locked because they are in use. What you see in the scan report is normal.
