Hi folks, I wonder if anyone can give me some advice. My PC seemed to shut down fine yesterday but now when I turn it on I get a message that Windows has failed to load. It gives me options of trying again with a regular install, Last known Good Configuration or Safe Mode. If I attempt any
of these options the screen goes black, I then get a no video signal message before I am returned to the screen showing the Windows options.

Any ideas of anything I could try? I have a Windows disk but no external backup.

    Many thanks for any help!
    Chris

Boot with Windows CD, and it'll give you Repair option. Your data should be safe.
