Cant find pc

I have a homefree phone line network I am allways loseing the main pc! It will work for a while then stop, Most of the time I have to uninstall the software and reinstall it then it works for a little while and dose the same thing! Allmost seems like it is loseing the driver or somthing. Let me know if there is anything I can try.

what o/s & what protocals are you using. Are you also sharing the internet?

 

Also are you using a firewall, and which software are you reinstalling?

 

I am useing windows 98es o/s and I have zonealarm free,I am using software that came with the network pakg

I am not familiar with that networking package that you have purchased. I am however very familiar with peer to peer and client server networking so if you will give us a LITTLE more information about HOW your network is set up that would be most helpful in our being able to HELP you.
