Well, that link refers me to a Microsoft "fix-it" wizard. I have run this wizard before, and again now, and it fails to install the Win. Update files. I get the error message "8007371C" and It leaves me with this file:

I have attempted to tackle Error 8007371C earlier this week, but did not resolve it.

 

I have decided to give up on the IE issue for now. I am more intent on solving the Windows Update issue. Please see my new thread relating to "Update KB2761465 wont' install in Vista Home Premium." Thanks for all your ideas.
