    A quick Google::

    It possible its been removed.
    Click on START->Run and type: msconfig

    Look in the startup tab for reference to the file and UNcheck the box.

    thankyou stever jones but nothing in the startup tab had mmall.exe in it. do you have any other suggestions? thank-you for your time. also will the msconfiguration be different and have different items for each persons log in account on the computer? some things under my dads screen name arent on mine and visa versa?

    that seemed to be the case steve. i just had to change my account to administrator. but now when i restarted the computer for the changes to take effect another pop up appeared saying i made changes to the ms configuration and that i had to check a box to stop it from popping up. and the mmall.exe isnt removed from the startup tab in ms configuration. i know this might be annoying but i dont even want it on my computer regardless of whether or not it is popping up every time i startup. thank-you very much
