Howdy! Just found this thread through a search Admin: Split from older thread- been getting sudden, random shutdowns for awhile now, just recently formated and reinstalled. Running Windows 2k, updated everything I could find. I must say I love the data dump collection tool! Here's the info from the text file of the latest dump:

This crashed in a wierd place. Can you get a new dump and run it through the tool. I'd like to see if its crashing in the same place every time. (also you can strip off the driver list spew next time to save posting space).

Ok, Here's the second to last dump, from a day or so ago. I've had 6 dumps on a 2 week old install, and it was crashing similarly before being reformatted. I hoped I pulled the right info out (driver file spew...)

    Thanks!

sent a PM asking for a copy of the minidumps.

There is a strong chance that the CPU is malfunctioning. Is this system overclocked?

Ok, i cracked these minidumps. I beleive there is a very strong chance that your processor is not well. There is a remote chance that a driver has registered a broken ISR, but i dont think so.

I recommend you replace the processor.

Thanks muchly for your help! I had sort of figured hardware, but never would have thought of the processor itself.
