    I am getting the BSOD --bad_pool_caller 0x000000c2.

I am running XPSP2 I use this computer to capture video it has Osprey Video capture card which uses ATI drivers 32mb ATU rage 128 Rage. The pc is a Dell GX240.

I was also getting error 0x00000050 ati2mtaa.sys but I upgraded to SP2 and install a different driver that error went away and now I get the 0x00000c2.

    Hi,
    Here is the manufacturer's website:
    http://www.viewcast.com/pages.asp?page=osprey
There are drivers there, depending on the model:
    http://viewcast.com/driverdownload.asp
(might it be termed "legacy "?)
There are some updates that refer to SP2.

If your current drivers have been "jammed" by the installation of incorrect file versions, it may be best to physically remove the card, boot into Safe Mode and uninstall any software listed in Add or Remove Programs (Control Panel), then when you reinsert the card and boot up, install it as though it was the first time it has been installed, but using the new/updated drivers and software.

    Matt
PS Look for updated chipset (and graphics) drivers for your model at Dell. Use the hardware identification utility if the computer is still in original configuration.
PPS The downloads require that you register the product, you can register it no matter how old it is, you can even ask for email support, how well they support their products will determine the response.
