Maybe someone can help me. All of a sudden those video "virtual tours" (like the ones at realtor.com) no longer load and play on my IE browser (6.0, and I'm using WinXP).

They used to play just fine, and I've neither installed nor uninstalled any programs lately -- except for a couple of Windows updates related to security, I think.

Any idea what the problem is, or how I might fix it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You are probably talking about the iPix IE plugin that lets you see those great 360-degree panoramic pictures that many sites offer.

You could try re-installing the plugin:

Thanks, Abraxas. I installed that plug-in you suggested, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem.

Then I remembered that it might have something to do with Microsoft Virtual Machine (the java applet, right?), so I looked back at my Windows Update installation history and saw that I had installed a VM security update about the same time that I lost the ability to see virtual 360 degree "tours." Figuring that the update installation may have somehow been corrupted, I reinstalled it and now everything works fine.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help, though. I appreciate it.
