When I boot up I have no problem connecting to the internet using IE, however after about 12 -15 minutes, the connection times out and I get the "this page cannot be displayed message ". Thinking it might be an IE problem I installed Firefox, but the same thing happened after about 12- 15 minutes. OE and other applications (winamp, etc, ) that connect to the internet cointinue to operate OK. I went throught the Microsoft troubleshooting steps for IE and my connection seems good, I don't know where to look nest. TIA, Art

Was ZA on the machine before and you uninstalled it by any chance? I've seen some uninstalls of ZA where it continues to block access or not allow access when it's uninstalled.

Yes, I uninstalled it and NAV to install a new security suite and in retrospect, that is when my problems started. I thought I had uninstalled it completely but perhaps (likely) there was something residual that affected my operation. Art
