Some of the filenames in my C drive are in blue text, whereas the rest are in black.

I cant really add anything else as thats all thats happening and I dont know why!

    Anyone know why?

Its just the odd filename for some reason.

    Cheers

    Geordie,

Assuming your file system is NTFS they are encrypted or compressed (not zipped) files. To change go to Tools > Folder Options > View and uncheck 'Show encrypted ......... in colour'.

I use compressed files on my second partition for data storage, and I like the convenience of the blue file name designation. Ain't it wonderful how we can set things up according to our individual preference?

    Cheers from snowy Ohio!
