When I try to access the internet I receive a message from 2Wire saying it isa excessive sessions warning. It goes on to say:
Your home portal has intercepted your web page request. The following devices on your network are using a large numer of simultaneous internet sessions. It then refers to F78BF448C2 (blaster type virus)

I have restored to a point 2 weeks earlier when it worked fie, run the spyware program and have a regualr virus scan which did not detect anything.

    Can anyone help?
    I run WindowsXP

Try running the Blaster worm removal tool

In case you have picked up a trojan download, install, and update the free version of Ewido trojan scanner. When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu ".
Run Ewido and post the log here.

Please keep all posts re. your thread on the BBS - from an email .....
You clearly have access to the internet as you have posted here - if you are using another computer download the Blaster worm removal tool and Ewido to pen drive or burn to CD and run from there on the infected computer. Ewido is a trojan scanner which will scan your system for trojans and other nasties, remove them if possible and, at the end of the scan, will produce a report/log which you can post here.
