Benchmark Software

    Does any one know any freeware that has benchmark testing for video cards, memory, hard drives, etc.? I want something that tests everything and compares it to other machienes.

    I found this on Google, but I it doesn't seem to compare with other m/c's, which is probably a tall order.

    Doesn't Sisoft Sandra do this kind of thing? But I've never put any faith in their reference numbers that it shows for other processors.

    It's probably best to individually benchmark each subsystem in your machine and then make comparisons.

    Video Card: 3DMark2003 or 3DMark2001SE
    Hard Drive: HDTach 2.61 (my favorite for hard drives)
    Memory: I suppose Memtest86 will show you your memory speed in the upper left. I use it to tweak my bios memory settings.
