charlesvar--Is it a correct assumption that we can now delete the Belarc advisor_update.exe (v7.11.4)? I never installed/used it.

I delete previous versions - try it, then delete the setup file for the older version as well.

charlesvar--I rarely use Belarc, but have the download around incase I need it. I never was quite clear what advisor_update.exe (v7.11.4) was. A full installation of Belarc, or something to be added to the earlier Belarc? The size is only a about 1/3 the size of the usual Belarc advisor.exe. So I suspect the latter, and that whatever it updated is now taken care of by the new advisor.exe v 7.2a.

There are updates to versions consisting of new MS updates, or new versions, and this is a new version.

The updates are labeled as such.

Don't keep track of the individual Belarc downloads.
